About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Business Development Coordinator to join the team in our Graduate Program. You will be required to undertake four modules over twelve months to gain an understanding of the construction industry in multiple facets of the business.
You will be mentored by leaders throughout the business and be provided with strong support from line managers and peers. We work closely to develop career goals and expand your skills in order to create a professional development plan in order to achieve success as Business Development Coordinator.
You will be required to complete a structured program of work with on the job learning and responsibilities across various departments such as Client Management, Site Management, Project Management and OHS&E. Ultimately at the end of the program, you will be required to join the Client Management team.
Responsibilities:
Client Management– Working in the Business Development team, you will help design solutions and develop proposals to meet our clients’ future needs. You will also learn key skill sets in client management and assist in managing our business growth strategy.
You will also be required to:
Assist in the development of proposals/tenders and coordinator proposal/tender documents to meet deadlines
Assist the Business Development Manager to analyse plans and take off quantities;
Assist the Business Development Manager to build and develop client, supplier and subcontractor database;
Maintain the best level of customer satisfaction;
Assist the Business Development Manager to resolve any issues that arise during the sale cycle;
Assist the Business Development Manager to manage client relationships;
Develop industry relationships;
Participate in developing marketing strategies;
Site Management- Working onsite, you will participate in managing day to day activities alongside the Site Manager. You will have the opportunity to participate in managing OH&S requirements and have involvement in site meetings with clients, site staff, project team members and contractors.
Project Management– Working as a team, you will be a resource that the team relies on to assist in the day to day running of a project. You will have exposure to working with all stakeholders of the project and be actively involved in maintaining quality control documents throughout the project.
OHS&E– You will become knowledgeable in safety practices through developing a detailed understanding of our Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental processes and procedures. You will be required to undertake tasks that assist the Project and Site Team to implement Safety Procedures such as inductions.

About you:
Have completed and graduated from University (Bachelor’s Degree), preferred disciplines being Business, Construction and Project Management
Are an Australian/ New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of application
Are an all-rounder candidate with the interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and work in a team environment
Be highly motivated and sales driven
Have an interest in construction
Confident to establish new relationships
Ambitious to achieve results and progress your career
Energised by connecting with new people and developing new relationships
Ability to communicate effectively with others
