Project Manager
Some of the responsibilities of our project managers are listed below:
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with the contract, project specifications and approved plans.
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Effectively apply our methodology, enforcing project standards.
- Minimize exposure and mitigate risk on project.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, consultants and contractors to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Ensure OHS, Quality, Environmental and Industrial Relations issues are clearly identified with contractors at time of letting trade packages and assess contractors for their ability to comply.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Participate in the Project Start-up Meeting.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress and cost tracking reports.
- Manage project budget.
- Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for the project.
- Analyse project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and resource utilisation.
- Manage the purchasing of materials and services in accordance with procedures.
- Authorise purchase orders and subcontract agreements within limits of authority.
- Ensure that major and critical suppliers and subcontractors are closely effectively managed.
- Verify and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices claimed under SOP as per relevant procedures.
- Ensure that claims, securities, variations, disputes, subcontracts and other contractual matters are properly managed in accordance with Contract Administration procedures.

- OHS Officers
- Onsite labour
- Manage day-to-day client interaction with a high level customer satisfaction focus.
- Set and manage client expectations including all variations to the contract/project.
- Facilitate team and client review meetings.
- Maintain documentation control of all communication.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify additional needs and evaluate solutions.

Site Manager
Some of the responsibilities of our site managers are listed below:
- Ensure that the project schedule is updated weekly and agreed with the Project Manager.
- Coordinate and manage the activities of site staff, sub contractors and trades suppliers.
- Communicate and ensure adherence to the project schedule by all site staff, sub contractors, trades and suppliers.
- Participate in on-site meetings with the Project Manager and sub contractors and suppliers.
- Participate in client meetings as required.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with Corplex guidelines and procedures – Project Management Manual, Quality Management Plan, Safety Management plan and Environmental Management Plan and other specifications as required by Corplex management.
- Ensure that only current drawings and documents are used on site and that all superseded drawings are marked accordingly and returned to the Project Manager.
- Refer all requests for design changes to the Project Manager for approval prior to carrying out the work.
- Raise identified design issues with the Project Manager, consultants and authorities as required.
- Purchase materials and equipment for site use as requested by the Project Manager.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment delivered to the site is adequately identified, safely handled and stored to prevent loss, damage or injury.
- Ensure that measuring and testing equipment required for the work area is properly identified, calibrated, adjusted and labelled.
- Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained in a safe condition and is regularly serviced.
- Ensure that site is locked and secure when it is not being occupied.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with current codes, standards, operation &maintenance manuals, specifications, drawings, etc.
- Ensure that all work is carried out by qualified tradesmen in accordance with approved procedures; Work Cover and Safe Work Method Statements.
